Scunthorpe - New Futures

with Digital Learning

Are you a complete beginner with computers?

Do you want to learn how to use the internet or e-mail?

Would you like to know how to look for a job ‘on-line’?

Then why not come along to one of our FREE IT drop-in sessions, and learn in your own way, and at your own pace?

Communitas is running a new project in Scunthorpe providing computer drop-in sessions and workshops for local people, community groups and workplaces in the local area.

The project has been designed for people who have little or no experience of using a computer or the internet. Even if you’ve never switched on a computer before, there will be help from our friendly tutor to get you started, and advice on what you can do next to gain more experience and confidence.

You will be able to learn practical new skills, from the basics of using a keyboard and mouse, to using e-mail and the internet, and the sessions are informal, fun and FREE! You can also bring a friend or family member.

Sessions are being held in Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire, in community venues, workplaces and libraries, until the end of March 2012.
